Question: Why Do I Need God?

Answer: You need God because God is the source of life, peace and joy. If you do not have Him in your life, the life you have is not a life in its true essence. John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life."

Question: What Do You Mean?

Answer: What I mean is, you can have all the money, the fame, the luxuries of life which are all good to have, but there is a void within your soul that nothing can fill but God. That void causes your soul to crave for peace, joy and true happiness, but it seems to eludes you instead you feel depressed and unhappy, why? Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness; for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Question: But I am A Christian, I pray and Go To Church or Mass

Answer: Praying and going to church or mass does not make one a Christian. Even the devil goes to church too, that does not make him a Christian. If you go to church but live the lifestyle of sin, you are just a churchgoer performing religious duties. Romans 8:7 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Many practice this form of Christianity from the sincerity of their heart, this is no fault of their own, this is what they grew up in and was taught, but there is more to Christianity than that, to be a Christian is to be truly indwelt by Christ's Spirit. It is good you are going to church, but it will be better if the God you go to seek is actively part of your life. Romans 8: 9b - Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His." To be honest, do you have the Spirit of Christ in your spirit right now? If not, please be sincere with yourself, you need to be Born Again.

Question: What Do You Mean?

Answer: What I mean is, you can bear a Christian name, go to church, even teach Sunday School or preach the gospel and may not be a Christian in the true sense of the word "Christian."

Question: Really?

Answer: Yes, and I will explain. I was like that before I became born again. If you will hear me out, it might be the turning point in your search for the truth. I spoke with a man once, who told me there is nothing in Christianity, that, it is just a good principles to live by. He told me, he grew up in a religious home, was an altar boy, but did not feel any power, he later on turned to drugs, alcohol and witchcraft in search of power, and ended up with a life of chronic depression, anxiety, fear and addiction. I told him, he has been around religion, and religion according to the Bible in 2 Timothy 3:5 have the form of godliness, but denied the power thereof, and all that result to, is a dead religion full of empty rituals and formalities, and millions of the so called Christians grew up in and around these empty shows.

Question: So, How Do One Become A True Christian?

Answer: Thanks for asking, I will explain. John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Question: What Does It Mean To Be Born Again?

Answer: John 3:5: "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Just as you were born of your parents and their blood flow in your vein and you are genetically connected to them, and manifesting some of their characteristics, so also, a person that is born again is born of the Spirit of God.

Ephensians 2:1 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins." (your spirit man which was dead in sin has been brought to life by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit) when that experience takes place, the Spirit of God flows into that individual's now quickened spirit to dwell there, and that individual from that point on takes on the nature and the life of Jesus Christ. In the highest sense of the word, he is truly a Christian whose body, soul and spirit are filled and saturated by the divine life of God. This brings true spiritual transformation and genuine change from within. Has this happened in your life? If not, you are yet to be born again.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

In the above scripture God is desirous to save you, heal you, help you, and His ears are eager to hear and answer your prayers, but there is a problem, your sin, your iniquities, has erected a big wall between you and God. That wall need to come down and come down fast. If I were you, I will do so now, before leaving this website.

Question: How?

Answer: By surrending your life to Him

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

God is willing to forgive you your sins, even if you are the worst sinner on earth. No matter how bad your sins are, if you will believe and confess them now, God will forgive you.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

This is a direct invitation from Jesus to you, He said come, come to Me with your depression, your addictions, your sicknesses, and your problems, I will give you rest from them.

 

What Must I Do To Be Born Again?

Believe

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Confess

Roman 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Repent

Acts 3:19 Repent you therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out.

Forsake

Proverb 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Receive Him

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name

Be Baptized

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

 

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Isaiah 55:7 "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."

If you are ready to be born again, then pray the following prayers and meant it from the depth of your heart.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the mighty name of Jesus. I believe with my whole heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins on the Cross of Calvary.

Father, I come to You just as I am. I am a sinner, have mercy on me. I confess my sins (name them) I am very sorry, and I now repent of these sins and kindly ask you to forgive me.

Lord Jesus, wash me with your precious blood. I now open the door of my heart to you, and I invite you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior from now and through out eternity.

Thank you Lord for saving my soul. I am now a born-again child of God, and I vow to follow and serve You the rest of my life. Amen.
