INTRODUCTION
Name in every culture is used to nature and character.
Name were often given prophetically in anticipation of good personality traits. The names of God offer a convenient summary of the nature of God. We praise His name whenever we praise God for Who He is, for His character, or for His attributes.
Prayer of adoration involves showering praises on God. To adore means to regard with deep respect and affection to be very fond of. We give humans a title per their live achievement or accomplishment, Dr, Chief, Sir, Lord, Engineer, President, Senators, Lawyer etc to confer on them the dignity and respect of their position and accomplishment in life. Name and title express the nature and character of persons.
Jihovah-Jireh - Genesis 22:8-14
Jihovah-Jireh means the Lord my Provider. Abraham knew that God keeps His promises, and that He is trustworthy. It simply means that He is the God who provides for our needs, or simply put "God will provide".
Jihovah-Rohi - Psalm 23:1
Jihovah-Rohi means the Lord my Shepherd. It is one of the most tender names of God. A shepherd stays with his sheep. Sheep are totally dependent on their shepherd for food and protection. We are God's sheep, and He is our Shepherd. He is all we need.
Jehovah-Hosenu - Psalm 95:6
Jehovah-Hosenu, means the Lord our Maker. God is our creator, He knows every fiber of our being and is intimately acquainted with our going out and coming in.

Jehovah-Elohim means the Eternal Creator. God has the absolute power. That power was demostrated when He created the earth out of a void and formless chaos, light out of darkness.
Jehovah-Eloheka - Exodus 20:2
Johovah-Eloheka means the Lord Your God. As God began to give Moses the first of ten commandments, He established His identity by referring to Himself as Jehovah-Eloheka. That is why He will not tolerate any rivalry. Thou shalt not have any other God beside me. I am a jealous God.
Jehovah-Elyon - Psalm 7:17
Jehovah-Elyon means the Lord Most High. Even though David was slandered by the tongue of men and attacked, he wholeheartedly trusted in the Lord Most High.
Jehovah-Tsidkenu - Jeremiah 23:6
Jehovah-Tsidkenu means the Lord our Righteousness. Our righteousness is from God.
Jehovah-Adonai - Genesis 15:2,8
Jehovah-Adonai means Sovereign Lord. It is an acknowledgement of God's almighty power and dominion over all things. It express the fact that God's is the owner of each member of the human family and that He demands our complete obedience to Him.
Jihovah-Shammah - Ezekiel 48:35
Jihovah-Shammah means the Lord is There. It refers to omnipresence of God. He is always with His people. He is right now with you.
Jehovah Ropheka - Exodus 15:26
Jehovah-Repheka means the Lord Your Healer. Not only does God promise to heal
His people of sicknesses, but he specifically declares that His presence will prevent
illness.
Jehovah-Mekaddishkem - Leviticus 20:8
Jehovah-Mekaddishkem means the Lord Our Sanctifier. To sanctify something is to
declare that it belongs to God. He set us apart for Himself.
Jihovah-Shalom - Judges 6:24
Jehovah-Shalom means the Lord Our Peace. In this passage, Gideon erected an altar to God as a memorial and witness to the fact that Jehovah-Shalom desires the peace of those He has saved and call for His service.
Jehovah-Elohay - Zechariah 14:5
Jehovah-Elohay, the Lord my God, has secured the promise of grace, forgiveness, and power toward us.
Jehovah-Nissi - Exodus 17:5
Jehovah-Nissi means the Lord My Banner. God Himself is the defence and covering
for His people. Even though God's way may be filled with trials and temptations, we can hold high the banner of His name and go forward in triumph and victories.
Like the serpent that Moses raised in the wilderness, a banner for the people, Jesus was raised up on the cross as our banner, our redemption, the sign of victory
Jehovah El-Shaddai
Jehovah El-Shaddai means the Almighty God and express the Omni-potence of God.
Jehovah-Rapha - Exodus 16:26
Jehovah-Rapha means Jehovah heals, "I am the God that healeth thee". God pledges Himself to His people to be their healer. It speaks of healing in the total sense; spirit, soul, and body.
Jihovah-Yahwey
The name Yahwey speaks of God's eternal existence. Omni-potence, Omni-Scient and Omni-presence.
